In 1985 I opened an antique shop in Lodi. It was located on old Main Street, the seemy part of Lodi. I was opened one weekend a month and people came from everywhere. All thought they had discovered a “hidden hole in the wall’. Life was such fun running it! It was very successful. What made it even more fun was the prostitutes that hung out and walked the street in front of the store. In the store at there might be a prostitute and a rich lady from San Francisco shopping at the same time. Both were welcome and I became friends with each of them. I will be writing, telling their stories and even a story of when my lovely wife was mistaken for a prostitute–perhaps I can have her write it to you.–memories–olRoff
