I recently received a letter from a person using the fictitious name of Mary Smith. It started out  “Mr. Roth Sorry to hear about your tax problem but I wouldn`t worry about it if you paid your taxes everything will be OK.”  Then she tore into me about an artist whom I represent. What positive thing can I reply? Oh yes, Mary Smith, the IRS audit found that I owed nothing so I guess God did watch over us!
