Graves Country Gallery was opened in 1984. We have been at our present location for 15 years. We, the proprietors are Roff and Arlene Graves. Roff, age 72, is a retired State of California Investigator as well as being a retired licensed Private Investigator. Arlene, ageless, is retired from San Joaquin Delta College.

Roff is the active one in the folk/outsider art world. He has collected since the 1970s, commencing with Clementine Hunter. Arlene sits on the sidelines and loves the art world but permits Roff to take the lead. She is an avid Stock Market watcher and participates frequently.

We sell really good folk art of all types, folk art paintings, carvings, face jugs, and southern roosters, We have antique folk art as well as contemporary folk art.

We also deal in antique paintings and those painting such as Wendy Worsham’s and the watercolor paintings of David Bailey. What we love we buy and hope you love the paintings as well.

We deal in authentic early American antiques. We specialize in country items such as stoneware, firkins, decoys, furniture -- We sold at the California Country show for years. We support it 100%. Tom Baker is great to work with. He is a fine young man!

We have traveled extensively to meet the artists we represent, such as Jimmy Sudduth and Bernice Sims. On our web site you will read about many of them. You will also read stories by them. You will meet people we love. We will tell you about our many grandchildren (lost track of how many but it is in the twenties, maybe thirties.)
